Common questions

How do I get my purchase back on a new phone?

Open Cull, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Cull Unlock is tied to your Apple ID, so it restores for free on any device signed in with the same account.

Cull can’t see my photos

Cull needs photo access to work. Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Cull and choose Full Access. If you selected “Limited”, Cull can only see the photos you’ve picked.

Did Cull delete my photos?

Cull never deletes on its own. Anything you clean up goes to the in-app Trash first, and real deletion only happens after you confirm Apple’s dialog. Deleted photos then sit in your Photos → Recently Deleted album for 30 days, where you can recover them.

The first scan is taking a while

On very large libraries the first scan and duplicate check can take a few minutes. It runs in the background and only happens once — after that, Cull opens straight into a ready library.

Does Cull work offline?

Yes. Everything runs on your device, so Cull works with no internet connection and never uploads anything.
